Unlike a television screen, the Viewer has some nice tricks up its sleeve: For example, you can resize the Viewer window by using one of the five sizes listed in the View menu (Half, Actual Size, Double Size, Fit to Screen, and Full-Screen sizes). This is useful for watching a movie in a small window on your Desktop while you work with other applications.

You can toggle your Viewer size from the keyboard; for example, select Half Size with Command+0 (zero), Actual Size with Command+1 (one), and Double Size with Command+2 (two).

To watch movies in Full-Screen mode, you can toggle with the Command+F keyboard shortcut. Currently, if you’ve bought movies or TV shows through Microsoft’s store, there’s no way to watch them on an iOS device. But Windows Central reports that the company has plans to correct that, following its abandonment of Windows smartphones.

It appears Microsoft is now finally working on bringing its Movies & TV service to iOS or Android, according to sources familiar with the matter.

My sources suggest Microsoft is building these apps to give consumers more of a reason to buy content in the Microsoft Store.
